If you're like me, and looking for some Japanese reading practice, I've found some sites that may help. Yahoo and MSN have put out news sites for children, linked below. The kanji even have their furigana (kana that show the pronounciation of kanji) written after them in brackets! Helpful, no?
I've linked the index page first, and the archives of the different subsections below that in bullets. Note that I haven't linked sections that don't have furigana for all kanji, but if you look around on the Mainichi-MSN and Yahoo sites, you're sure to find more challanging readings.
